The Association of Solid Board Carton Manufacturers (VVK) e.V. is the coalition of manufacturers of solid board packaging in Germany and has been representing the industry's interests to politicians, authorities, packaging industry institutions, other industrial and economic groups, and the public since 1953. Since its founding, the VVK has pioneered efforts for the solid board producing and processing industry.

The Association of Solid Board Carton Manufacturers (VVK) e.V. is a professional association for manufacturers of solid board packaging. For nearly 70 years, we have been dedicated to supporting our members and their interests. Together, we create high-performance solid board solutions and ensure long-term market competitiveness. Solid board is an excellent alternative to other packaging materials and offers numerous benefits for manufacturers, users, nature, and the environment.
Resource-Efficient Packaging Production
Solid board consists of almost 100% recycled paper, making its production extremely resource-efficient. Additionally, the manufacturing process is highly energy-efficient, water-saving, and low in emissions.
Ecologically Valuable Green Packaging Solutions
Carton solutions made from solid board contribute to the sustainability of the paper cycle because they can be recycled at the end of their lifecycle. By storing CO2 over the long term, greenhouse gases are avoided.
